Integrations#
The Integrations page in Lens Desktop provides a centralized place to manage all your external connections, including Kubernetes cloud environments and AI providers, from a single view.
Navigate to Preferences > Integrations to access this page.
-
Connect AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and local kubeconfig clusters.
-
Configure LLM providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Azure to power Lens Prism.
-
Set up cloud environments and AI providers during first launch.
Page layout#
The Integrations page is organized into two sections:
Kubernetes Environments#
Manage how Lens discovers and connects to your Kubernetes clusters.
| Connector | Description |
|---|---|
| AWS EKS | Automatically discover and connect to clusters across your AWS accounts |
| Azure AKS | Automatically discover and connect to clusters across your Azure subscriptions |
| Local Kubeconfigs | Watch kubeconfig files and folders on your local filesystem |
AI & Intelligence Integrations#
Configure LLM providers that power Lens Prism, your Kubernetes AI assistant.
| Connector | Description |
|---|---|
| Providers | Connect LLM providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, or Lens (research preview) to power Lens Prism |
How connectors work#
Each connector on the Integrations page follows the same pattern:
- Status indicator. Shows "Connected" or "Not Connected" with a count of active connections.
- Expandable table. Click the status to expand or collapse the list of connected items. The expand state and sorting preferences persist across sessions.
- Action buttons. Add new connections or configure existing ones.
- Row menu. Manage individual connections from the three-dot menu on each row.
Tip
Collapse connectors you are not actively configuring. Lens remembers which sections you left open.
Subscription gating#
Some connectors require a specific Lens subscription:
- Cloud environment connectors (AWS EKS, Azure AKS). You have a Plus, Pro, or Enterprise subscription plan. For details, see Lens Pricing .
- AI providers. Require a Lens Prism entitlement. If your plan does not include Lens Prism, a lock icon appears with an Upgrade your plan link.
Note
Local Kubeconfigs are available on all plans.
Requirements#
- Lens Desktop installed and signed in with a Lens ID
- Cloud environment connectors (AWS EKS, Azure AKS) require a Lens Pro or Enterprise subscription
- AI provider configuration requires a subscription that includes Lens Prism
- Local kubeconfig management is available on all plans
Limitations#
- Google GKE integration is not yet available as a cloud environment connector
- AI providers support Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, and Lens (research preview). Other LLM protocols are not supported.
- Cloud environment connectors require internet access and are not available in airgapped environments
