Argo CD support in Lens K8S IDE adds a dedicated Argo CD entry to the cluster navigator. The entry holds a dashboard, list and detail views for every Argo CD resource kind, and sync and refresh actions on your Applications. Answer questions such as "Is everything synced?", "What is degraded?", and "Which Application manages this Deployment?" from in-cluster data, without using kubectl or the argocd CLI.

Key capabilities#

  • Track sync and health status for every Application from a single dashboard, with a health strip, summary cards, a Needs attention panel, and a recent activity timeline.
  • Browse every Argo CD resource kind, including Applications, Application Sets, Projects, Repositories, and Clusters, with dedicated list and detail views.
  • Sync or refresh Applications individually or in bulk, with the prune risk surfaced before you confirm.
  • Cross-reference an Application and its managed resources in both directions, from an Application's resource list to any object's Managed by link.
  • Open the Argo CD UI in your browser without looking up a URL or port.
  • Investigate a resource with Ask AI, which verifies status against live cluster data instead of the cached sync state alone.

Reconnect to refresh the Navigator

The Navigator updates during the cluster connection process, when Lens K8S IDE reads the cluster's CRDs. Disconnect and reconnect the cluster after installing or removing them to refresh it.
