Lens 2026.4.140757-latest - Release#
The new release of Lens Desktop is here - featuring a redesigned onboarding experience, refreshed dialogs, improved startup recovery, and several connectivity and theming fixes.
To ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption we’ll start by rolling out the update to a small portion of our users, then incrementally increasing this number until all users have access to the update. If you have not received the update and wish to try it out, you can download this version manually at our website .
Enhancements#
- Redesigned Onboarding Experience: The onboarding wizard has been redesigned with a new two-panel layout, making it easier to set up Lens for the first time
- Refreshed Dialog Design: Dialogs and modals throughout the app have been updated with improved headers, close buttons, and a cleaner overall layout
- Light Theme Improvements: Improved text contrast in light theme for better readability across several views
Bug Fixes#
- Lens now gracefully recovers from migration issues during startup and notifies you when a recovery has occurred
- Fixed re-auth loading spinner misalignment on cluster items in the sidebar
- Fixed AKS integration failing to connect on AAD-only clusters after upgrade
- Fixed Azure AKS SSO login failing in Firefox on macOS (blank page) due to the
openpackagenewInstanceflag - Fixed lock icon size inconsistency between AKS and EKS clusters in the sidebar
- Active repositories now properly reload after adding a custom Helm repository
