Configure Azure

This page contains an instruction for the Azure LLM connection.

To connect Lens Prism to Azure:

1. Log into Azure Portal and navigate to Azure services > AI + machine learning > Azure OpenAI.
2. In the following table, select already existing or create a new resource.
3. In the resource menu, click Resource Management > Keys and Endpoint. A menu containing keys, location, and endpoint opens.
4. Copy the content of the KEY 1 or KEY 2 fields.
5. Open Lens Desktop and navigate to Preferences > Lens Prism AI.

6. In AI Provider, select Azure and specify the following parameters:

   Parameter	Recommended value	Comments
   Azure API Key	KEY1/KEY2	Find Azure AI Foundry > Home
   Resource Name	resource name	Find in Azure AI Foundry > Home
   Model IDs	Model name	To find, navigate to Azure AI Foundry > Deployments and click the model you need
   API Version	Model version	Find in the model menu
   Context Window Size	-	Accordingly to the Azure model settings
   Max Output Tokens	-	Accordingly to the Azure model settings
   Custom Instructions	-	Optional. Set up personal preferences, such as language, specific details, and so on. These instructions are appended to every prompt as a guidance to personalize and improve Lens Prism responses
