Lens K8S IDE layout#

Lens K8S IDE interface consists of several areas that form a simple and easy to understand layout.

The interface view

  1. Title Bar

    Provides access to key menus and options that allow opening the User Menu, viewing notifications, navigating through history, and opening the context menu with Preferences, and other menus or options.

  2. Hotbar

    Provides instant access to your favorite clusters.

  3. Command Panel

    Used to browse and open all the available views.

  4. Tab Bar

    Allows you to switch between views of various clusters and open a tab in the preview mode.

  5. Workspace

    Displays the main area with various tables, graphs, and other essential information.

  6. Dock

    Contains the anchored workspace for utility tools such as the terminal, log viewer, resource templates editor and other operational views.

  7. Status Bar

    Provides access to the built-in chat with Support, and displays additional information.
