Domain Matching#
Domain Matching simplifies the onboarding process for new users to join an organization Lens Business ID.
During the sign-up process, users are prompted to specify their company email. If the email domain matches those of an existing organization, users can discover and select one of the existing Lens Business IDs to join. Organization administrators will receive an email notification and can approve or deny these requests from the admin console.
Enable Domain Matching#
To enable Domain Matching:
- In organization Lens Business ID, navigate to Domain Matching.
- Toggle Enable Domain Matching.
Domain Matching is now enabled. At the initial start of Lens Desktop, new users whose email domains match the organization email domain can discover and request to join your Lens Business ID.
Tip
Set a descriptive department or team label in the Lens Business ID Profile menu to make your organization easier to identify for new users (e.g., DevOps, Test Team).
Managing join requests#
By default, all join requests from new users are sent to Lens Business ID administrators for approval. Whenever a new user sends a request during their sign up, you can see a notification in Lens Business ID > Users & Seats. You receive an email notification as well.
To grant access to the organization Lens Business ID:

Navigate to Users & Seats > Manage Users > Requests.

Click Options > Approve .
After approval, users get become members of your Lens Business ID. If Automatic Seat Assignment is enabled, they get assigned to subscription seats. You can monitor new users through email notifications and in Users & Seats > Managing Users > Users.
To enable automatic approval of join requests:
- Navigate to Domain Matching.
- Toggle Automatically Accept Join Requests.
Users immediately become members of your Lens Business ID. If Automatic Seat Assignment is enabled, they get assigned to subscription seats. You can monitor new users through email notifications and in Users & Seats > Managing Users > Users.
