Configure Anthropic#
Use this provider to power Lens Prism with Anthropic's Claude models through your own Anthropic API key (BYOK).
Prerequisites#
- A Plus, Pro, or Enterprise subscription plan. For details, see Lens Pricing .
- An Anthropic API key. Generate one from the Anthropic Console .
Steps#
- Open Preferences > Integrations.
- In the AI & Intelligence Integrations section, click Add provider.
- From the Provider Type drop-down, select Anthropic.
- Enter a Name for the provider (for example,
My Anthropic). - In the API Key field, paste your Anthropic API key (format:
sk-ant-...). - Optional. In Custom System Prompt, add text that should be appended to every prompt sent to Anthropic.
- Optional. Click Test to validate the credentials before saving.
- Click Add.
The provider appears in the expanded AI & Intelligence Integrations table. To remove or edit it later, use the row menu on its line.
Available models#
Lens Desktop shows the available Anthropic models in the chat composer's model picker. The list updates with each Lens Desktop release as Anthropic publishes new Claude versions. See the Anthropic Console for each model's current capabilities and context window limits.
